On December 12th, Portland Outsider Magazine hosted the first annual Made in Portland Awards at ADX, a celebration of local artisanship, creativity, and all things Portlandia. Over 300 local artisans entered the awards in five categories: Food, Drink, Style & Design, Home, and Outdoor.
We love the tactile feeling and warmth our drawer pull collection brings to any room, and so did the judges. We’re thrilled to announce the Walnut Studiolo Drawer Pulls received the Honorable Mention (2nd place) in the Home category.
Drawer pulls are made specifically to be touched and held, and Geoffrey designed the collection with tactility in mind. The natural oils from your hands bring a supple feel and rich patina to the leather over time, creating an experience of luxury in a simple, daily act. The drawer pulls use the same tough equestrian leather as our bicycle accessories, so they can weather grubby fingers and spills with grace.
Our “pulls” family also includes a leather cabinet pull that we call “The Sellwood”, which is available in two different sizes: 6 and 12 inches:
Customers have used the drawer pulls in a variety of ways: kitchens, children’s bedrooms, entertainment units, bedroom dressers – up high or down low, horizontally or vertically. The pulls can be installed in various ways to suite your room; contact us for assistance with creating a home you love.
